Cheow Lan Lake, located in Khao Sok National Park, is one of the most breathtaking destinations in Thailand.

Often called “The Guilin of Thailand”, the lake is surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains rising from emerald-green water, similar to the landscapes of Guilin in China.

The rainforest here is rich with wildlife such as elephants, monkeys, birds, and many other species, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers.

One of the highlights is Khao Sam Kloe, the iconic three limestone peaks — a must-visit photo spot.

Travel Itinerary

08:00 - Hotel pickup & check-in

 Meet at your appointed pick up location or hotel in the Khao Sok area for check-in. In the event the bus does not collect you within 15 minutes of your arranged time, please contact +66 937137819 or +66 625178719.

09:00 - Depart from Khao Sok (stop at 7-Eleven & local market)

Start your journey from Khao Sok. This takes approximately 45 minutes by car to Cheow Lan Dam pier. On the way we will stop at 7/11 and Ban Ta Khun market (15 minutes), where you can find any products you would like for your trip such as raincoats, waterproof bags, hiking shoes etc.

09:45 - Arrive at pier & briefing

Once we have arrived at the pier, your guide will inform you of the full day itinerary. Afterwards, tickets for the national park will be purchased before embarking on a long-tail boat across the beautiful lake.

10:00 - Long-tail boat ride (45 mins) + visit “Guilin of Thailand”

Ride on the long-tail boat for 45 minutes, immersing yourself in the breathtaking environment. Along the way we will visit an area of natural beauty, known as “The Guilin of Thailand”. These are impressive limestone mountains with characteristics resembling those of Guilin, China. This is a popular area to take photographs.

12:00 - Lunch + free time (swimming, kayaking, relax)

We provide delicious dishes with sour, sweet and spicy flavours in traditional Thai style. After finishing lunch, customers have two hours to feed the fish, swim in the water, kayak or relax. (Please always wear a life jacket for safety on the water)

14:00 - Jungle trek or cave or Bang Hoi Waterfall

Prepare to get back onto the boat and set off on a hiking trip. Take a walk inside a cave, see naturally occurring corals and go swimming at the beautiful, Bang Hoi Waterfall. (Please check for your property before boarding the boat because we will not return to these locations once we have visited).

17:00 - Return to pier

 A taxi service is available for Surat Thani, Krabi, Phuket, Phang Nga, Khao Lak and Don Sak.

18:00 - Arrive back at Khao Sok

where you will be dropped off at your arranged destination in the Khao Sok area.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is the National Park entrance fee?

300 Baht for Adults per person. 150 Baht for Children under 14 years old. Thai citizens pay 40 Baht and 20 baht for children.

Are there special rates for children?

Ages 1–3: Free • Ages 4–8: 1,000 THB • Over 8 years: Adult price applies

Can the tour program change?

Yes. The itinerary may change depending on weather and safety conditions.

Is a life jacket required?

Yes. Life jackets are mandatory for all water activities.
